LIFE-FORCE is proud to be an externally approved Centre by ABC. The scheme is run under the aegis of ABC, the Awarding Body Consortium, who is recognised by the Government as an awarding body, whose qualifications meet the criteria developed through QCA (Qualifications Curriculum Authority).

ABC was established in 1990 when it replaced the North-Western Regional Advisory Council incorporating the union of Lancashire and Cheshire Institutes. Together with it's predecessors, ABC has provided examination and assessment services and schemes of validation for more than 150 years.

ABC's role in relation to the scheme includes the administration of validation procedures, the process of moderation and the issue of certificates to successful candidates.

This Diploma will qualify you to set up in private practice as a counsellor, or to seek employment in the counselling field. This Diploma will also entitle you to go on and apply for personal BACP accreditation, after 2 - 3 years counselling work.
